Curiosity killed the cat they say... I bet you are wondering if you are getting your money's worth on your (ISP) Internet Service Provider.  

Why not check out what your benchmark speed is by checking out SpeedTest.net which will determine your benchmark by measuring how much bandwidth is available to you at a given time.  

This Internet Speed Test site is probably the best one out there.  It allows you to select which server is closest to you to improve accuracy of the test.  

Might be a good time to call up your local ISP and let them know you're not cruising the information superhighway as fast as you should be!
